Your first website in 15 minutes

From sign-up to going live, step by step

About 15 min6 steps
  1. Sign up

On the Grids home page, click “Start free”. Enter your name, email and a password, and agree to the terms.

  2. Choose what you want to make

“Personal website” has works, services, about and contact. “Portfolio” opens straight onto your works. “Card / link page” is a single page with your contact details. There are also one-page résumés, studio sites and project pitch pages. Pick the closest one; you can change everything later.

  3. Pick a template and a name

Choose a template you like, then enter the site name and address (yourname.grids.tw). Click “Create site” to open the editor.

  4. Make the content yours

Click any text on the page to edit it. Click a block and its settings appear on the right: swap photos, paste a video link, change buttons. Delete blocks you don't need with the trash icon, and add new ones from “Add block” on the left.

  5. Check it on a phone

Switch to “Mobile” at the top to check the layout. Every block adapts automatically, so you rarely need to adjust anything.

  6. Publish

Click “Publish” in the top right. When it's done, click “View site” and put the address in your Instagram bio.

TipThe editor saves automatically, but your live site only updates when you click “Publish”. Take your time.
