Welcome to Grids. The service is provided by (營運公司名稱,上線前填入) ("we", "us"). By signing up for or using the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms. Effective date: October 2, 2026.
1. The service
Grids provides online tools for building and managing websites (including templates, the editor, management of your works, and plugins), website hosting, and free film tools. We keep improving the service, so features may be added, changed or removed; we will notify you in advance of material changes that affect your existing websites.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password safe. Anything done through your account is deemed to have been done by you.
- Each account is for one natural person or one legal entity. For teamwork, use the member feature of the Studio plan; do not share passwords.
- If you find that someone else is using your account, notify us immediately.
3. Your content and copyright
- Copyright and other rights in the content you upload or create (text, images, video links, details of your works) remain with you or the original rights holder.
- To provide the service, you grant us a license, to the extent necessary, to reproduce, store, convert (for example compress images or generate thumbnails) and publicly transmit your content. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
- The first time you publish a website, we ask whether you want to show the website and your works in Grids Explore (grids.tw/explore) and on showcase pages (for example Made with grids); you can change this at any time in the website settings, or email us to ask for removal.
- You warrant that you have the right to use all content you put on the platform, including likenesses, music and client materials.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use the service to:
- publish content that is illegal or that infringes the copyright, trademarks, portrait rights or privacy of others;
- publish content involving child sexual exploitation, intimate images shared without consent, hate, threats of violence, or fraud;
- distribute malware, carry out phishing, or use features such as "Insert HTML", "Custom CSS" or "Tracking code" to collect visitors' data without informing them as required by law;
- send spam, or interfere with or attack the service or other users;
- resell the service, or create accounts or websites in bulk by automated means.
If we receive a report or find a violation, we may first take down the content concerned or suspend the website, and then notify you with an explanation; in serious cases, we may terminate the account.
5. Plans, payment and invoices
- Paid plans (Pro, Studio) are charged in advance for each monthly or yearly period, at the prices shown on the pricing page. Prices include tax.
- Subscriptions renew automatically and are charged at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel renewal at any time in "Plans and billing"; after you cancel, you can keep using the plan until the end of the current period.
- We issue electronic uniform invoices (Taiwan e-invoices) as required by law.
- We will notify you of a price change at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
6. Refunds
- For your first purchase of a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 7 days of the payment date; the plan ends at the same time.
- Payments after those 7 days, and renewal payments, are not refunded on a pro-rata basis; you can cancel renewal and keep using the plan until the end of the current period.
- If the service cannot be used because of a problem on our side, email [email protected], and we will extend your subscription period or give a refund, depending on the extent of the impact.
7. When a plan ends, and going over the limits
When a paid plan expires or is cancelled, your account returns to the Free plan: your websites and content are kept, but custom domains, advanced plugins and team members are suspended, and the footer shows Made with grids. Content beyond the Free limits is not deleted, but you cannot add more until you are back within the limits.
8. Third-party services
Your website may embed or link to third-party services (for example YouTube, Vimeo, Google Analytics, or content you add with "Insert HTML"). Those services are the responsibility of their respective providers and are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Availability of the service
We do our best to keep the service stable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Routine maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where possible and announced in advance. We are not liable for interruptions caused by events not attributable to us, such as natural disasters or failures of networks or third-party services.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in "Account settings". After your account is deleted, your websites go offline and your content is deleted within the periods set out in the Privacy Policy. If you breach these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of business or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service; our total liability is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event. This section does not affect rights that consumers have by law and that cannot be excluded by contract.
12. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we will post the change on this page and update the effective date; for material changes, we will notify you by email or by an announcement in the dashboard before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after the changes take effect, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance for any dispute arising from these terms, without prejudice to the application of Article 47 of the Consumer Protection Act and the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure on jurisdiction over small claims.
14. Templates shared to the template marketplace
- Users on the Pro and Studio plans can save their own website as a template and choose to share it to the template marketplace. A template includes the website's layout, text and images; page passwords, Insert HTML blocks, and the email address and phone number in contact blocks are not saved into the template.
- By sharing a template to the marketplace, you grant us and other users a free license to use it: we may display, review and recommend it on Grids; other users may build websites with it and freely change its text and images. Websites already built with your template can continue to be used after you withdraw or delete the template.
- You warrant that the text, images and design in the template are yours to share, and that it contains no other person's personal data and no unlicensed material.
- Templates are listed only after review. We may, without notice, reject or remove a template, or change its category and the plans that can use it. Marketplace templates show your username and may link to your publicly published website.
