Works and videos
Upload the video to YouTube or Vimeo, then paste its link into Grids. The thumbnail and aspect ratio are picked up automatically. Grids does not store video files: this keeps your website fast, and the video quality is handled by a dedicated streaming platform. For videos you don't want to make public, use YouTube's “Unlisted” setting or a Vimeo private link.
Yes. Uploaded photos are converted to WebP at up to 2400 pixels on the longest side, and several sizes are prepared so they load quickly on phones and computers. The original files are not kept, so keep your own copies.
“Works” is the list of your work in the dashboard: each work has a cover, video, stills, client, year and credits. The “Works grid” block on your website reads straight from this list, and every work automatically gets its own page. To add a work later, you just add it in the dashboard; there's no need to lay anything out in the editor again.
Free: 30 works and about 300 photos (300 MB). Pro: unlimited works and about 10,000 photos (10 GB). Studio: about 50,000 photos (50 GB). Business: about 100,000 photos (100 GB). Videos are embedded, so they use no storage.
