Get a domain
Buy one from a domain registrar such as Gandi, GoDaddy, Cloudflare or Namecheap. A .com costs about NT$ 400–600 a year.
Add the domain in Grids
Go to your site's “Settings” → “Custom domain”, enter www.yourname.com and save.
Add a CNAME record at your registrar
In your registrar's DNS settings, add a record: type CNAME, name www, and the target exactly as shown on the Grids screen.
Check the setup
After a few minutes, go back to Grids and click “Check DNS settings”. When it shows “Connected”, you're done. The SSL certificate is handled automatically.
TipDNS changes can take up to 24 hours. Until then, your grids.tw address keeps working as usual.
