Managing your works

Add a work in the dashboard and your site updates itself

About 5 min6 steps
  1. Go to “Works” in the dashboard

From “My sites”, click “Manage”, switch to the “Works” tab and click “Add work”.

  2. Choose a work type

There are three types, each with its own page layout. “Video” centers on the player, followed by stills and credits. “Images” is a set of photos shown as masonry, a grid or a single column of large images. “Website” places screenshots in a browser frame with a “Visit website” button. You can switch types later without losing what you've entered.

  3. Fill in the details

Depending on the type, paste a video link or upload photos or website screenshots, then add the category, client, year, description and credits. In credits you can search for people on Grids and link them; once they confirm, their name links to their profile. Everything saves automatically.

  4. Show your works on your site

In the editor, click the “Works grid” block and set “Source” to “Works in your dashboard”. From then on, every work you add in the dashboard adds a tile here. You can also show only one type, or turn on “Let visitors switch work types”.

  5. Every work gets its own page

When visitors click a work, they go to its page at /works/…, laid out for its type and styled like the rest of your site.

  6. Order and hide

In the works list, drag the handle on the left or use the up and down arrows to change the order, and filter by type at the top. For works that aren't ready yet, turn off “Show on site”.

TipChanges to your works appear on your published site right away. There's no need to publish again.
